The invention also relates to a method in which at least one data set containing image points of one or more image elements is provided which contains the location arrangement of the image points and, on the basis of said image point location arrangement, one or more at least partially curved tracks or one or more at least partially curved sections of one or more tracks are determined and one or more first microstructures are provided in said one or more tracks or sections of tracks, wherein these microstructures provide, under illumination, a first optically variable piece of information, in particular one or more 3D effects and/or effects of motion, and preferably achromatic or mono-chromatic 3D effects and/or effects of motion.
