Abstract (en)
[origin: US2018279240A1] In one of its aspects the technology disclosed herein concerns a communications system comprising an access node (22) and a wireless terminal (26). A wireless terminal comprises receiver circuitry and processor circuitry. The receiver circuitry receives wireless communications over an air interface from a radio access network. The processor circuitry changes from using a first periodicity to using a second periodicity to detect a synchronization signal included in the received wireless communications.
