[origin: WO2018172878A1] The invention relates to a domestic appliance comprising a fixing unit (12a-e) which is intended to at least partially fix a planar unit (14a-e) to a base unit (16a-b). In order to provide a generic appliance having improved properties in respect of efficiency, it is proposed that the fixing unit (12a-e) in at least one assembled state allows a limited movement of at least part of the planar unit (14a-e) relative to the base unit (16a-b) in a movement direction (18a-b) at least substantially parallel to a main plane of extension of the planar unit (14a-e).
