Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Abstimmen einer Vliesdüse (1) auf ein an einem Ausgang eines Streckwerks (3) einer Textilmaschine angeordnetes Faserband (2). Erfindungsgemäß wird in Abhängigkeit zumindest einer Bandeigenschaft des Faserbands (2) die Vliesdüse (1) aus einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Vliesdüsen (1) ausgewählt und in Abhängigkeit der Bandeigenschaften eine Orientierung und/oder eine Position der Vliesdüse zum Faserband eingestellt. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Streckwerk einer Textilmaschine zum Verziehen zumindest eines Faserbandes (2) mit einer am Ausgang des Streckwerks (3) angeordneten Vliesdüse (1) zum Zusammenfassen des Faserbandes (2).
