[origin: EP3605930A1] This application provides an uplink reference signal sending method and an apparatus. The method includes: sending, by an access network device, signaling to a terminal device; determining, by the terminal device, a sequence type of an uplink reference signal based on the signaling; determining, by the terminal device, transmit power of the uplink reference signal based on the sequence type of the uplink reference signal; and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink reference signal by using the transmit power of the uplink reference signal. A purpose thereof is to improve uplink reference signal transmission reliability.
