[origin: WO2019053485A1] The invention relates to an improved item of furniture comprising an interior (25) in which a lining element (27) is provided. The lining element (27) comprises an upper curved portion (30a) and a lower curved portion (30b) in which the lining element (27), which in the central region thereof, by means of the rear wall (27b) thereof, directly or indirectly abuts the front face (5a) of the rear wall (5), is remote from the rear wall (5) and is oriented so as to extend to the front, specifically so as to form an upper ramp end (28a) and a lower ramp end (28b). The lining element (27) has a plurality of slots (31) in the region of the upper and lower curved portion (30a, 30b) of the lining element. The lining element (27) is supported at the horizontally deflected lower ramp end (28b) thereof on a stop (39) and is held at the upper ramp end (28a) of the lining element so as to be supported by means of a contact element (41a) and/or a retaining strip (41).
