[origin: WO2018184606A1] The invention relates to a world timepiece having a movement with hands, a stationary 24-hour face (101, 301, 401, 501), and a face (103, 303, 403, 503) which can rotate relative to the 24-hour face (101, 301, 401, 501) and has a symbol for each hour of the 24-hour day (24-hour face). According to the invention, a device is provided in or on the world timepiece for determining geographic coordinates which is connected to a device for automatically rotating the 24-hour face, and the device for automatically rotating the 24-hour face (103, 303, 403, 503) rotates according to the time zone when the geographic coordinates change. This construction allows the world time to be read very intuitively and allows corresponding partners in different time zones to agree on a time without confusion.
