Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018184823A1] The invention relates to an electrically insulating electric conductor strip (1), in particular for electric motors and transformers, having a strip-like electric conductor (2) which has a upper cover surface (2a) and a lower cover surface (2b), two side edge surfaces (2c) and, at the ends, a respective front edge surface, and having electric insulation (3) which is arranged on at least one cover surface of the strip (2a, 2b). The insulation (3) comprises a varnish layer (3a) and an adhesive tape (3b), which is stuck to the lower cover surface (2b) and/or the upper cover surface (2a) of the strip-like electric conductor (2), and specifically directly adjoins a side edge surface (2c), in each case in one region (4).
