The surfaces (13) of the side parts (11, 12), once joined together, form a fastening surface (10) having at least one recess (130) for receiving a plug connector (3). The frame elements (14) of the side parts (11, 12) of the retaining frame (1), once joined together, are spaced apart from one another and form at least one receiving region (140) for receiving the plug-connector modules (4).
