[origin: WO2020030770A1] The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for cutting and removing strapping wires (2) from a rectangular bale (3) strapped by the wires, having: - a positioning device (4) for positioning the rectangular bale (3); - a cutting device (13) for cutting the strapping wires (2) of the rectangular bale (3); and - a wire gripping and removing device (17) for gripping and removing the strapping wires (2) of the rectangular bale (3). The cross-section of the positioning device (4) has a substantially V-shaped positioning groove (6) with a first support surface (6a) for a first outer face (3a) and with a second support surface (6b) for a second outer face (3b) of the rectangular bale (3). The wire gripping and removing device (17) has a first wire gripping and removing module (17a) for gripping and removing the strapping wires (2) on a third outer face (3c) of the rectangular bale (3) and a second wire gripping and wire removing module (17b) for gripping and removing the strapping wires (2) on a fourth outer face (3d) of the rectangular bale (3).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) und ein Verfahren zum Aufschneiden und Entfernen von Umreifungsdrähten (2) von einem damit umreiften Quaderballen (3), aufweisend:- eine Positioniervorrichtung (4) zum Positionieren des Quaderballens (3);- eine Schneidvorrichtung (13) zum Aufschneiden der Umreifungsdrähte (2) des Quaderballens (3); und- eine Drahtfesthalte- und Drahtabzugsvorrichtung (17) zum Festhalten und Abziehen der Umreifungsdrähte (2) des Quaderballens (3).Die Positioniervorrichtung (4) weist dabei eine im Querschnitt im Wesentlichen V-förmige Positionierrinne (6) mit einer ersten Auflagefläche (6a) für eine erste Außenseite (3a) und mit einer zweiten Auflagefläche (6b) für eine zweite Außenseite (3b) des Quaderballens (3) auf. Die Schneidvorrichtung (13) weist ein erstes Schneidelement (13a) zum Aufschneiden der Umreifungsdrähte (2) an der ersten Außenseite (3a) des Quaderballens (3) und ein zweites Schneidelement (13b) zum Aufschneiden der Umreifungsdrähte (2) an der zweiten Außenseite (3b) des Quaderballens (3) auf. Die Drahtfesthalte- und Drahtabzugsvorrichtung (17) weist ein erstes Drahtfesthalte- und Drahtabzugsmodul (17a) zum Festhalten und Ausziehen der Umreifungsdrähte (2) an einer dritten Außenseite (3c) des Quaderballens (3) und ein zweites Drahtfesthalte- und Drahtabzugsmodul (17b) zum Festhalten und Ausziehen der Umreifungsdrähte (2) an einer vierten Außenseite (3d) des Quaderballens (3) auf.
