The central part (15) is releasably secured to a lateral surface (49) of a housing (21) of the base assembly half (14) by means of a connection section (48) in order to form the connection point (45, 46). The lifting platform also comprises a lifting device (24) which is arranged on each base assembly half (14), which can be transferred from a starting position arranged on the base to a working position (32), and each of which has a support (31) on an end region of the lifting device (24), and each support (31) receives at least one support arm (34). The central part (15) is connected to the respective housing (21) of the base assembly half (14) by means of a formfitting plug connection, and the two are oriented towards each other (51).
