[origin: WO2018189608A1] The present invention relates to a feed trough (5) for a feeding device (4) on a spinner preparation machine having a main body (13) and at least one elastic lip (16) which extends across a working width of the feed trough (5). According to the invention, the feed trough (5) has a contact face (21), and means are provided for detecting contact (18, 19, 20; 27) between the elastic lip (16) and the contact face (21). The invention also relates to a feeding device (4) for feeding flock fibres into a spinner preparation machine, having a feed roll (6) and a feed trough (5) according to the description above.
