Abstract (en)
The invention provides a treatment couch (1) for use in physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient (25). A treatment platform (2) of the treatment couch (1) comprises a head support (5) and two arm supports (6). The arm supports (6) are arranged in a first position on opposing sides (3, 4) of the head support (5) in a width direction (W). Each arm support (6) is provided with adjustment means (8) for moving the arm support (6) from the first position to at least one second position lower than the first position. The adjustment means (8) are arranged for also moving the arm support (6) inwards in the width direction when moving the arm support (6) from the first position to the at least one second position. The adjustment means (8) are arranged for also tilting the arm support (6) in the width direction with its support surface (7) away from the treatment platform (2) when moving the arm support (6) from the first position to the at least one second position.
