Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2018192814A1] A radial press (2) comprises a plurality of press bodies, which are arranged around a press axis and can be moved radially in relation to the press axis, and a drive unit for shifting the press bodies in the direction of the press axis, or away from the same. The press bodies are constructed in a number of parts and each have a main jaw (1) and a pressing jaw (14), which is fixed in an interchangeable manner on the main jaw. The main jaws (1) each comprise a radially inwardly arranged pressing-jaw-supporting surface (6) and, adjacent to the latter in the circumferential direction, two side surfaces (7, 8). The pressing jaws (14) each butt, by way of an abutment surface (13), against the pressing-jaw-supporting surface (6) of the associated main jaw (1) and have a fixing protrusion (12), which projects from the abutment surface (13), enters into a mount (11) provided on the main jaw (1) and interacts with a locking device arranged there. On their pressing-jaw-supporting surface (6), the main jaws (1) each have a channel-like recess (17), which extends from the mount (11) as far as one of the side surfaces (7, 8) and opens out on the same.
