[origin: WO2018193202A1] A communication method implemented by an identification device (1) capable of being disposed in a vehicle. The method comprises: - receiving (105) a contact identifier (31, 51) originating from at least one mobile terminal (3, 5) capable of exchanging data at short-range with the identification device (1); - transmitting (109, 113) the received contact identifier (31, 51) associated with an identifier (10) of the identification device (1) from the identification device (1) to a remote server (7) via a mobile communication network, the at least one transmitted contact identifier (10, 31, 51) allowing said server to deduce a user identifier for implementing a service as a function of the identifier (10) of the identification device (1).
