Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018192870A1] A machine tool containing a receiving apparatus having at least one receiving element and an energy supply unit that can be connected to the machine tool, for example a rechargeable battery, having a connection device, wherein the connection device contains at least one contact element, wherein the receiving apparatus is designed to receive and to hold the connection device so that the at least one receiving element and the at least one contact element can be connected to one another to produce an electrical connection. A damping element is provided on the at least one contact element, as a result of which the at least one contact element can move in a first direction and second direction and also relative to the respective receiving element so that it is possible to counteract a relative movement between the contact element and the respective receiving element when the contact element and the receiving element are connected to one another.
