[origin: EP3613914A1] The present invention relates to a beam assembly in a screen device (1), comprising- a beam element (2) which is provided for lateral attachment to a structural element (3), such as a wall;- a connecting profile (4) which forms part of the beam element (2) at the top of this beam element (2) or, in its fitted position, is arranged at least partly above the latter, wherein this connecting profile (4) is provided with a fitting groove (7) which is open at the connecting side for connection to the structural element (3); and- a sealing means (6) to be applied in the fitting slot (7) for sealing the connection between the connecting profile (4) and the structural element (3).In addition, the present invention relates to a method for converting a screen device (1).
