[origin: WO2018197018A1] The water-abrasive-suspension cutting system (1) disclosed herein has a high-pressure source (3) for providing (701) water under high pressure, a high-pressure line (5) fluidically connected to the high-pressure source (3), said high-pressure line having an upstream portion and a downstream portion, an outlet nozzle (7) fluidically connected to the downstream portion of the high-pressure line (5), for producing a cutting jet (9), and a pressure container (11) for providing (703) a pressurized water-abrasive suspension (13), wherein the pressure container (11) is fluidically connected on the inlet side to the upstream portion of the high-pressure line (5) and fluidically connected on the outlet side to the downstream portion of the high-pressure line (5). A pump or delivery device (16, 80) is arranged on the outlet side of the pressure container (11) and the pump or delivery device is set up to deliver the water-abrasive suspension (13) out of the pressure container (11) and to feed it to the downstream portion of the high-pressure line (5).
