[origin: WO2018197291A1] The present invention relates to a method for connecting a metal-polymer laminate, which comprises at least one metal layer with a layer formed of a polymer attached in an integrally bonded manner, to at least one connection partner. The at least one metal layer has at least one recess and/or has, at least in regions, smaller dimensions than the layer formed of polymer, so that at least on the side of the at least one metal layer, an exposed surface of the layer made of polymer is provided, at least in regions, for connection to the at least one connection partner, wherein the connection partner is injected and/or pressed on at least at the exposed surface of the layer formed of polymer, and the at least one recess in the at least one metal layer is introduced on the metal-polymer laminate and/or, to produce the smaller dimensions compared to the layer formed of polymer, the at least one metal layer is removed, at least in regions, on the metal-polymer laminate.
