[origin: WO2018197780A1] The invention concerns a particular sizing for a heating device (9) for a motor vehicle (I), said heating device (9) comprising at least three radiant panels (10) oriented respectively towards different areas (ZI-Z4) of the body of at least one passenger, an overall surface area of all the radiant panels (10) being between 0.3 m2 and 0.5 m2 per passenger occupying the motor vehicle (I). In order to ensure optimum energy efficiency, each radiant panel (10) is thermally insulated with respect to the outer surfaces of the motor vehicle (1) by a thermal insulator having a thermal resistance greater than or equal to 0.3 m2.°C/W. In order to ensure thermal comfort for each passenger, a surface temperature of each radiant panel (10) is between 30°C and 80°C.
