Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2562044A] A low pressure regulator 10 provided with a regulator member 36 moving under the influence of fuel pressure and controlling the section area of an outlet 26, and a filter 54; in a normal operational mode the flow of fuel is regulated as a fraction of the flow goes through the filter 54, and in a flushing operational mode fuel flowing on an inlet side bypasses the filter 54 and directly flows to an outlet 26. Also defined is a flushing operational mode in which a regulator 10 is arranged on a test station. The invention provides a means for removing debris from a filter on a fuel pressure regulator.
