[origin: WO2018206360A1] The invention relates to a pivot fitting, in particular for movable furniture parts on upholstered furniture, said pivot fitting having: a first lever (2) and a second lever (3) which are pivotably mounted with respect to one another about a common axis (D) out of a starting position about a predetermined angle (α); a clamping mechanism using which the two levers (2, 3) can be fixed at different angular positions within the predetermined angle (α) relative to one another counter to a torque acting in the restoring direction (R) and, when the clamping or locking mechanism (23) is deactivated, can be pivoted in the restoring direction (R); and an overload coupling using which the first lever (2) can be pivoted in the restoring direction (R) relative to the second lever (3) when a predetermined torque is exceeded when the clamping mechanism (24) is activated, the overload coupling being a claw clutch (4) which is arranged as a structural unit between the first lever (2) and the second lever (3). The invention also relates to an item of furniture.
