[origin: WO2018206145A1] The invention relates to a pocket sew-on template for an automatic sewing system (1) for sewing a cut piece on a clothing-article base or other sewable base, for use in producing a clothing-article cargo patch pocket by sewing the cut piece to the clothing-article base, comprising a plate (33) for placing against the cut piece and for holding the cut piece down during the sewing, wherein the plate (33) also has a peripheral edge region and has a groove (32) in the plate as a predefined needle path on the cut piece, the plate (33) having at least one cut-out, which is provided and is arranged in a location of the plate such that a portion of the cut piece can be excluded from the holding down during the holding down, the degree of automation of the production and the production accuracy can be increased according to the invention in that the plate is provided with at least one receptacle (36, 37, 41, 42) for receiving a raised corner region of the cut piece and with flat portions of the plate (33) adjoining the receptacle (36, 37, 41, 42) on both sides for holding down a folded-over part of a cargo fold region. The invention relates to an automatic sewing system and to a method for producing a cargo patch pocket on a base of a clothing article or of a transport bag.
