Abstract (en)
[origin: EP3623165A1] A method for providing a physical document (1) with a security feature comprises the steps of providing the document (1) with two images (10, 20) depicting a same subject. The two images (10, 20) are produced with respectively two different techniques. The two images (10, 20) are arranged to cover the same image area on the document (1) and to be in matching superposition with each other. This matching superposition is difficult to realize and yet very easy to verify with naked eyes, thereby improving the security of the document (1) and the verification of its authenticity.
