[origin: WO2020212388A1] The present invention relates to a system for securing a product (1, 1') of a strip head type in a coating pot (2) filled with liquid metal of a coating installation comprising at least a first and a second item of equipment (e1, e2) of a type that is immersed in the pot and of a type that is raised overhead when the strip exits the pot, each of the first and second items of equipment being arranged, respectively, on either side of each of the strip faces travelling vertically into the pot and out of the pot, the system comprising a means for lifting (3) one of the items of equipment out of the pot, and being characterized by a means for holding (4, 4') the strip head at least above the pot. Operational methods for the securing system are also presented.
