[origin: WO2018210940A1] An autonomous vacuum cleaner comprising: - a suction unit (10), - a suction head (20), - at least one connecting tube (30) arranged between the suction unit (10) and the suction head (20), - electrical energy storage means, characterised in that the autonomous vacuum cleaner comprises: - pivoting means (40), arranged to form a pivot link between the connecting tube (30) and the suction head (20) or the suction unit (10), so as to allow the suction unit (10) to rotate relative to the suction head (20) about an axial direction of the connecting tube (30), between a nominal use position and at least one lowered use position in which the suction unit (10) has a smaller vertical space requirement than a vertical space requirement in the nominal use position, - locking means (50) arranged to lock the pivoting means (40) at least in the nominal use position.
