[origin: WO2018211213A1] The present invention relates to phenolic polymers. More particularly, it relates to phenolic polyacetals, the preparation process thereof and applications thereof. By way of example, these polymers can be obtained from vanillin or eugenol. In a particular embodiment, the phenolic functions of the polyacetals are free. The polyacetals according to the invention can be obtained from bio-based starting materials.
