[origin: JP2021028823A] To provide a vacuum system in which each electronic module of the same type is uniquely identified and a method for identifying electronic modules in such a vacuum system, without requiring additional auxiliary means in each electronic module.SOLUTION: A vacuum system has at least one vacuum device, multiple electronic modules, and a connection device that establishes at least one electric connection part between the modules. The connection device has an electric contact for each of the multiple modules, and each contact has a unique identifier mark. A method for identifying multiple electronic modules in such a vacuum system, in which each electronic module has a type identifier assigned to each module type, includes using a combination of the unique identifier mark of the module contact and the module type identifier to identify each module.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
