A protective screen (10) for stoves, characterized in that it comprises a substantially frame-like supporting framework (11) for a protective grille (12) to be arranged in front of the glass of a stove, said supporting framework (11) and said protective grille (12) being made of wood. 2. The screen according to claim 1, characterized in that said protective grille (12) is constituted by parallel bars (14). 3. The screen according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said supporting framework (11) is made of multi- layered wood with fire-resistant treatment. 4. The screen according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said supporting framework (11) has a front cambering. 5. The screen according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises means (15) for association with the stove on the rear side of said supporting framework (11). 6. The screen according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said association means (15) are constituted by magnets.
