Abstract (en)

The present invention relates to a washing machine capable of normal washing and heavy duty washing. A washing machine for performing washing by spraying washing water while transferring laundry, comprises: a controller in which a plurality of entire washing division regions, which are partitioned into predetermined areas with respect to the overall area of the laundry, are stored and in which a portion of a stain washing division region with respect to a stained portion of the laundry, which requires heavy duty washing, from among the entire washing division regions is inputted; and a washing unit having at least one washing nozzle mounted thereto to spray the washing water by being assigned to a respective washing division region in the entire washing division regions.
