[origin: WO2018224124A1] A process for washing fabrics (12) using carbon dioxide provides to use at least two treatment chambers (14, 15) operating alternately, or in partly or totally overlapping washing cycle, and to carry out in each of the treatment chambers (14, 15) the washing of a fabric (12). The process also provides to recover and recirculate the carbon dioxide used in one treatment chamber (14 or 15) at the end of the washing of a fabric, and to feed it into the at least one other treatment chamber (15 or 14), transferring the carbon dioxide from one treatment chamber to the other (14, 15) by means of a carbon dioxide feed and/or recovery and recirculation circuit (16) that connects the two treatment chambers (14, 15) to each other.
