[origin: WO2018224295A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for recovering heat from a heating fluid which flows through a heating fluid tract (2) during operation of a heating fluid generator, said device having a duct closure element (3) and a heat exchanger assembly (4), wherein the heat exchanger assembly (4) has a main flow duct (6) surrounded by a secondary flow duct (5), the main flow duct (6) and the secondary flow duct (5) each having at least one inlet (7, 9) and at least one outlet (8, 10), formed downstream of the inlet (7, 9), through which the heating fluid flows. In the secondary flow duct (5) there is at least one heat exchanger element (11) through which a working fluid can flow during operation of the device, and a volume flow rate of the heating fluid through the main flow duct (6) and/or the secondary flow duct (5) can be regulated according to an opening rate of the duct closure element (3). The duct closure element (3) is also arranged downstream of the outlets (8, 10) of the main flow duct (6) and the secondary flow duct (5) of the heat exchanger assembly (4).
