[origin: WO2018224285A1] The present invention relates to an assembly (100) for measuring a torque (M) acting along a rotation axis (Y) on a shaft (15) on an input side of a drive (80) and in particular on a crankshaft (15) of a work device, of a steering system or of a vehicle (1) which can be driven with muscular force and/or with motor force, in which assembly (i) the shaft (15) has a first shaft section (17) and a second shaft section (18) which are materially and spatially separated from each other and are coaxial to each other, (ii) a coupling shaft (20), having a first end (20-1) and a second end (20-2), is provided to mechanically couple the shaft sections (17, 18) to each other and to transmit torque and axial force between and coaxially to the shaft sections (17, 18), (iii) on one side, the first shaft section (17) of the shaft (15) and the first end (20-1) of the coupling shaft (20) are or can be mechanically coupled to each other, and on the other side, the second shaft section (18) of the shaft (15) and the second end (20-2) of the coupling shaft (20) are or can be mechanically coupled to each other, to transmit torque and axial force, and (iv) a sensor unit (30) is provided which is designed to measure an axial force acting on the coupling shaft (20) and/or between the shaft sections (17, 18) or a variable representative thereof as a measure of the torque acting on the shaft (15).
