[origin: GB2563401A] A pour spout fitment 10 with pour spout 12 comprising a knob 14 and a closure 16 rotatably mounted to the spout comprising a tab 18 which is forced outwardly relative to the spout when the closure is rotated relative to the spout. The pour spout may include a neck (20, fig. 1) with a flange (22, fig. 1) connected to the neck, with the knob mounted on the neck. The closure may include a cap 24 and tamper evident band (26, fig. 3) connected to, and separable from the cap when the closure is removed from the spout, the tab mounted on the band. The closure may include a slot 28 wherein the tab and the knob may be located in the slot. The fitment may include multiple corresponding knobs and tabs, which may be evenly spaced around the fitment. The spout may include an external screw thread which mates with an internal thread of the closure. The closure may include a tongue (34, fig. 5) which locates in an indent (36, fig. 5) when rotated. The tongue may extend into the slot 28. Also claimed is a method of opening the above fitment.
