[origin: JP2019030626A] To provide a vertical type washing machine which excels in water saving and which also excels in functions.SOLUTION: A washing machine 1 includes: a housing 10 in which a drain path is provided at a lower part; a water receiving tub 20 supported inside the housing 10; and a rotary tub 30 rotating around an axis extending vertically inside the water receiving tub 20. The rotary tub 30 includes an outflow port 36 opening to a bottom part of a trunk member 31 which can store water, being independent from the water receiving tub 20. The water receiving tub 20 includes: a first drain port 26 facing the inside; and a second drain port 27 communicated with the outflow port 36. The drain path includes: a first path 92 connected to the first drain port 26; and a second path 93 connected to the second drain port 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
