Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018229368A1] The present invention relates to an expansion machine (0) comprising an inlet region (22) having an intake port for a pressurised working fluid, the fluid being made up of a main component in the gaseous phase under nominal operating conditions, filled with a lubricant component in the liquid phase. The high pressure area is made up of the inlet region (22) fed directly by the pressurised working fluid. The bypass circuit is in contact with the expansion area for transferring heat between the working fluid flowing in the bypass circuit and the working fluid contained in the expansion area, to form a pre-heating means (15). The inlet region (22) has: o at least a first internal opening emerging into an expansion area and o a second internal opening emerging into the bypass circuit, controlled by the valve (9).
