[origin: WO2018234135A1] A method is presented for discharging a spraying product (36), in particular a plant protection product (36), onto an agricultural area (38) to be treated, by means of a spraying device (14) having a spraying product tank (18) and at least one fluidic connecting line (24) from the spraying product tank (18) to a nozzle (20). The method has the following steps: - selective discharging of the spraying product (36) onto an initial section of the agricultural area and subsequently - extensively discharging a residual quantity of spraying product (36) onto a residual section of the agricultural area with a pre-defined discharge quantity in such a way that when the treatment of the agricultural area ends essentially the entire residual quantity of spraying product (36) is discharged.
