[origin: WO2018232432A1] The invention relates to a cardboard crate having a shell (1) which projects up from a base and has stacking protrusions which protrude vertically over the shell (1) in the region of the shell corners, base cut-outs (19) which correspond to the stacking protrusions, and upper longitudinal edge sections, reinforced between the stacking protrusions, in the form of inwardly folded edge flaps (5) which comprise, delimited by crease lines (7), a bearing web (9) parallel to the base, a supporting web (12) folded against the base (1), and an edge web (13) bent back against the bearing web (9) and adhesively bonded to the shell (1). To produce simple design conditions, the invention proposes that the edge webs (13) of the edge flaps (5) be extended by protruding tabs (15) which extend into the shell corners and, together with a tab section (17) which protrudes vertically over the bearing web (9), form the stacking protrusions, which are doubled by an inwardly folded reinforcing section (18).
