[origin: WO2018233982A1] The invention relates to a water injection device for an internal combustion engine (2) of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one water tank (5) for storing water, at least one water injector (6) for injecting the water into the internal combustion engine (2), at least one conveying element (3) for conveying water from the water tank (5) into the water injector (6). The conveying element (3) is connected to the water tank (6) by means of a first line (7) and is connected to the water injector (6) by means of a second line (8). According to the invention, the water injector device (1) also comprises an accumulator (14) for storing the water, the accumulator (14) being fludically connected to the water injector (6).
