Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019025336A1] The invention relates to a method for producing an electrode (E) for an electrochemical cell, in particular for a battery cell, for example for a lithium cell. In order to produce a homogeneous mixture enabling, for example by dry coating, an electrode (E) with improved properties and/or with a layer thickness significantly greater than 100 μm, for example for car batteries, in particular for electric and/or hybrid vehicles, to be produced in a time-saving and cost-effective manner, at least one binding agent (B) and at least one electrode component (E1) are mixed in a mixing process with a high shear load to form a mixture (fB+E1) containing a fibrillated binding agent, and at least one other electrode component (E2) is then added to the mixture (fB+E1) containing the fibrillated binding agent by the mixing process with a lower shear load. The invention also relates to a thus produced electrode (E) and to a cell equipped with said type of electrode (E).
