[origin: US2020136288A1] An electrical connector has a male contact and a female contact, which are movable between a non-inserted position and an inserted position,. An insertable part of the male contact is inserted along an insertion axis into a housing of the female contact. The female contact includes a body and a plurality of strips protruding axially from the body and distributed angularly. The strips are radially flexible. The connector can also include a number of annular restraints that are structurally identical to one another, arranged on the strips, and suitable for exerting a centripetal radial pressure on the strips. At least two restraints respectively have distinct angular orientations from one another relative to the body around the insertion axis.

Connecteur électrique (1) comportant un contact mâle (5) et un contact femelle (10) mobiles entre une position non insérée et une position insérée, dans laquelle une partie insérable (12) du contact mâle est insérée selon un axe d'insertion (D) dans un logement du contact femelle (10). Le contact femelle comporte un corps (34), et une pluralité de lamelles (38) faisant saillie axialement à partir du corps et réparties angulairement, les lamelles étant flexibles radialement.Le connecteur comprend en outre une pluralité (40) d'organes de contention (40A, 40B, 40C, 40D) annulaires structurellement identiques les uns aux autres, disposés sur les lamelles, et adaptés pour exercer une pression radiale centripète sur les lamelles. Au moins deux des organes de contention présentent respectivement des orientations angulaires distinctes l'une de l'autre par rapport au corps autour de l'axe d'insertion.
