[origin: WO2019002630A1] The present invention relates to a torque limiter (10) for providing torque transmission between the engine and the gearbox shaft in vehicles having internal combustion engine and comprising: a secondary side (50) having a drive plate (35) and a curved spring (55) connected to the drive plate (35) from one side and which functions inside a lubricant (56), the other side of the curve spring (55) linked to the engine, an intermediate plate (22) connected to the gearbox by means of a hub (21), at least one friction lining (32) positioned next to the drive plate (35) in order to provide torque transmission from the secondary side (50) to the intermediate plate (22) and a pressure plate (33) and a limiter upper cover (30) connected to the intermediate plate (22) for pressing the friction lining (32) towards the drive plate (35). As an improvement, the subject matter torque limiter (10) comprises at least one sealing ring (41) extending from at least one of the limiter upper cover (30) and the pressure plate (33) towards the drive plate (35) for providing sealing between the lubricant (56) and the friction lining (32).
