Abstract (en)
A mounting structure (11, 12) for lighting devices (10), for instance, for lamps or retrofit bulbs (10) for vehicle applications, comprises a light generator (L) carrier portion (11) comprising an elongated body (110) extending along a longitudinal axis (X10) and a ring portion (12) fitted on the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11). Either the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11) or the ring portion (12) carries one or more tooth members (111) protruding towards the other of the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11) or the ring portion (12). The other of the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11) or the ring portion (12) comprises one or more arch-shaped engagement formations for the tooth member(s) (111), wherein the carrier portion (11) and the ring portion (12) are restrained from mutual displacement along the aforesaid longitudinal axis (X10) by engagement of the tooth member(s) (111) with the arch-shaped engagement formation(s) with the at least one tooth member (111) displaceable along the arch-shaped engagement formation(s) (121) so that the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11) can be rotated relative to the ring portion (12) about the longitudinal axis (X10) of the elongated body (110) of the carrier portion (11).
