[origin: WO2020064284A1] The invention relates to a kitchen appliance (2), comprising a support part (3) and a movable part (4) that can be attached to the support part (3), wherein, in an operating state of the kitchen appliance (2), the movable part (4) is mounted, by at least one mounting means, fixedly on the support part (3) in such a manner that the kitchen appliance (2) is ready for use, and, in a maintenance state of the kitchen appliance (2), the movable part (4) is held, by at least one holding means (6), on the support part (3) in a maintenance position of the movable part (4). In order to improve the handling of a kitchen appliance (2) in the case of maintenance, it is proposed that the at least one holding means (6) has a flexible shaft (8), at the ends of which there is formed in each case a connection means (10, 12) for connecting the holding means (6) to the support part (3) and the movable part (4), wherein the support part (3) and the movable part (4) have connection means (14; 7, 14) corresponding to the respective connection means (10, 12).
