[origin: WO2019011650A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for the heat treatment of a metal component (1). The method comprises at least the following steps: a) heating the component (1) in a first furnace (2), b) setting a temperature difference between at least a first sub-region (3) and a second sub-region (4) of the component (1) in a first temperature-adjusting station (5), c) heating at least the first sub-region (3) or the second sub-region (4) of the component (1) in a second furnace (6), d) thermally treating at least a sub-region of the component (1) in a second temperature-adjusting station (7), e) at least partially forming and/or cooling the component (1) in a press-hardening tool (8).
