[origin: WO2019015943A1] The invention relates to a various embodiments of a system and of a method for determining the effectiveness of a cosmetic skin treatment. The system can comprise: at least one sensor for determining at least one item of user skin ageing information, at least one memory, the memory being configured to store at least the user skin ageing information which is determined by means of the sensor, and at least one processor, the processor being configured to determine at least one objective skin treatment success of the respective individual user based upon at least one comparison of at least one item of skin ageing information of the user measured by means of the sensor with at least one item of skin ageing information saved in the memory. The method can comprise: recording at least one image of a user's face by means of a sensor, determining at least one item of user skin ageing information in the at least one image recorded by means of the sensor, comparing the at least one determined item of skin ageing information in the image with at least one item of skin ageing information saved in a memory, and providing at least one objective skin treatment success of the respective individual user based upon the comparison.
