[origin: WO2018188915A1] The invention relates to a fluid jet cutting device for producing a fluid jet (27), comprising a high-pressure fluid source (3), from which compressed fluid can be supplied to an injector (4) via a high-pressure line (5), the injector (4) having a nozzle opening (13), via which the compressed fluid can exit, thus forming a fluid jet (27). An adapter (16) is arranged downstream of the injector (4), which adapter has a central opening (17), through which the fluid jet (27) can pass, the central opening (17) forming an air chamber (28), which forms the outlet-side end of the central opening (17). An apparatus (35; 38) for influencing the fluid jet (27), by means of which apparatus the fluid jet (27) can be widened, is provided in the adapter (16) in the region of the air chamber (28).
