[origin: WO2019016241A1] The invention relates to an electrical plug connection having two main contacts - one plug-in contact (300) and one socket contact (100) intermatable therewith - which, in the intermated state, contact each other such that they form a main contact point (K1), wherein: an auxiliary contact (200) is associated with one of the two main contacts - plug-in contact (300) or socket contact (100) - which auxiliary contact, together with said main contact, forms an assembly and plug unit and is designed, in the intermated state, to contact the other main contact in the region of a second contact point (K2); the auxiliary contact (200) is designed as a spring contact (201); in the state where the two plug-in contacts 300 and 100 are not intermated, the auxiliary contact (200) is connected in an electrically non-conductive manner to the main contact - plug-in contact (300) or socket contact (100) - with which it is associated; and in the contacted state where the two main contacts - plug-in contact (300) and socket contact (100) - contact each other, the auxiliary contact (200) contacts the other main contact with which it is not associated in the sense of an assembly and plug unit - socket contact (100) or plug-in contact (300) - at an auxiliary contact point K2 for measuring the power loss across the plug connection.
