[origin: US2020163459A1] A chair has a seat with a seat shell. A frame for supporting the seat has, on its side facing the seat, a mounting strut running parallel to the plane of the seat shell. An underside of the seat shell if formed with a receiving profile for the mounting strut. The receiving profile has a fastening section extending from a circumferential edge of the seat shell parallel to a plane of the seat shell into the interior of the seat shell and having an access opening at the circumferential edge of the seat shell. A clamping strip is provided for clamping the mounting strut in the fastening section. The clamping strip is slid from the access opening in a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the fastening section and is fixed in its end position in the fastening section perpendicular to the plane of the seat shell.

Ein Stuhl (10) weist einen Sitz (12) mit einer Sitzschale (13) und ein Gestell (16) zum Tragen des Sitzes auf, wobei das Gestell (16) an seiner dem Sitz zugewandten Seite wenigstens eine parallel zur Ebene der Sitzschale verlaufende Befestigungsstrebe (19) aufweist und eine Unterseite (14) der Sitzschale (13) ein Aufnahmeprofil (22) zum Aufnehmen zumindest eines Teils dieser Befestigungsstrebe (19) aufweist. Das Aufnahmeprofil (22) enthält einen Befestigungsabschnitt (23, 25), der von einem umlaufenden Rand der Sitzschale parallel zur Ebene der Sitzschale ins Innere der Sitzschale verläuft und am umlaufenden Rand der Sitzschale eine Zugangsöffnung (27) hat. Zum Festklemmen der Befestigungsstrebe (19) in diesem Befestigungsabschnitt (23, 25) ist eine Klemmleiste (30, 31) vorgesehen, die von der Zugangsöffnung (27) des Befestigungsabschnitts her in einer Richtung parallel zu einer Längsrichtung des Befestigungsabschnitts in diesen einschiebbar ist und in ihrer Endposition im Befestigungsabschnitt (23, 25) in einer Richtung senkrecht zur Ebene der Sitzschale fixiert ist.
