Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2019020878A1] The invention relates to a device (4) for commanding the opening, from the outside, of a motor vehicle opening leaf comprising a support (8); a handle mounted with the ability to move on the support (8) between a deployed position (62) and a retracted position (61); an electric actuator the handle; and actuator control unit configured to command the actuator from the handle-deployed position into the handle-retracted position and vice versa, in response to a control signal. The control unit is configured so that when the actuator is commanded, it is possible to detect the jamming of the handle and, when said detection is made, to modify the effort applied by the actuator to the handle and/or to emit a fault signal.
